Hannah Heazlewood

Hannah has completed undergraduate and postgraduate training at the University of Western Sydney. She has completed training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), 

Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Radically Open Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (RO DBT). She has completed Intensive training for Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Radically Open Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (RO-DBT) and currently 

facilitates RO DBT and DBT programs.  

 

Hannah is a compassionate, client centered and extremely passionate DBT therapist. Hannah has a strong passion for DBT and RO DBT therapy having completed individual and group therapy for both for several years and has seen the power DBT has to reduce suffering, increase positive emotions, accept pain, increase social connections and openness and fulfill the ultimate goal to change peoples lives. There’s no other therapy like it.  

 

Hannah is a trauma informed therapist who is able to work flexibly to treat a client’s individual needs and assist clients with Building a Life Worth Living by using a variety of different therapy skills. Hannah places a strong emphasis on building rapport, connecting with clients and places strong value in making the therapy space a safe and supportive environment to assist towards healing while balancing learning skills to help clients make the changes they desire.  

 

To dialectically balance her life outside of DBT, Hannah enjoys exercise, cooking, reading, hiking, sunshine, laughing and dedicating her life to her fur babies.
