Ai Jerome
Accredited Practising Dietitian

My journey to becoming a dietitian began during my time as a fashion model in the challenging waif era of fashion. This experience shaped my understanding of body image and health, leading me to confront my own struggles with disordered eating. After retiring from modeling, I dedicated myself to helping others navigate their relationships with food and body image.

With over 20 years of experience in hospitals, universities, sports nutrition, and private practice across Asia and Australia, I focus on a non-diet, weight-neutral approach. As a mother of three, I blend my professional expertise with the realities of family life, supporting clients to achieve balance, happiness, and health in their eating habits.

I am passionate about understanding the interplay between our minds and bodies. My clinical interests include supporting individuals with eating disorders, digestive concerns, and mental health challenges. I also specialize in neurodiversity-affirming nutrition care, tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs of each client.

I hold a Master’s in Nutrition and Dietetics and a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology, alongside extensive training in various specialized areas. My practice is built on empathy, respect, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment.

Let’s work together to heal your relationship with food and embrace a balanced, fulfilling life!

Ai's Story

My journey to becoming a dietitian began when I worked as a runway model during the damaging waif era of fashion. This experience impacted my view of my body, my health, and the world around me, leading to struggles with disordered eating and negative body image. After retiring from modeling, I decided to channel my personal experiences and my passion for science and health into helping others. Since then, I have worked in hospitals, universities, sports nutrition, and private practice across Asia and Australia. I am a nerd-at-heart and have focussed my lifelong learning journey into nutrition science/health but the interaction between our psychology and how it affects how we function in this world. Now, as a mother of three children, I combine my knowledge as a dietitian with my experiences as a busy mom to support clients and families. I focus on a weight-inclusive approach, helping them heal their relationships with food and their bodies, ultimately guiding them toward happiness, health, and balance in their eating habits.
